- I started playing chess competitively in the 1st grade and continued untilI I graduated from high school.
- In 6th grade I got 2nd place in the state tournament for my age group. The kid who got first lived in a neighboring state, and so I still maintain that I was state champion.
- Since them I have enjoyed playing casually and enjoy learning about the game through annotated studies.
