My favorite game of all time is Super Smash Brother Melee. I have great memories playing with my friends in high school, and went on to play competitively for many years. I don’t play much anymore, but I’m still friends with a lot of the people I met through playing it.
I even honed some of the video editing skills that I have today making montages of me and my friends’ smash highlights.
These days I love to play Rocket League with my closest friends. We started playing during the pandemic and have since moved to different cities so it’s become a valued way to stay connected.
I love Zachtronics puzzle games like Opus Magnum…. the complex mechanics combined with infinite solution space of these games leads to really interesting creative problem solving.
Other than that, I’ll play pretty much anything my step-kids are foolish enough to think they can beat me at.
